Breaking: Greg Abbot Signs Bill Protecting Free Speech Rights on Campuses. Abbot Threatens Jail Time When Wrong People Start Speaking

A couple years ago in 2019 free speech advocate Greg Abbot - Texas Governor signed a law protecting free speech on college campuses. Certainly making college campuses great places to discuss varying beliefs and ideas as most colleges should be. Campuses should continue to be enshrined as the market place of ideas where people can learn to think for themselves and exercise critical thinking skills.

As time passes and we get to see as people test peoples ideas and continue to voice varying levels of different speech that some may or may not agree with. As we move into 2024 Abbot has called students at University of Texas at Austin campus to be arrested and that they “belong in jail”. We spoke with a random person online about what could cause such a large change in views as he spoke so strongly about free speech on campuses and now as some now have a different opinion than him he now wants to put those people in jail. As they responded "I mean up to this point does it really surprise anyone? Has Abbot ever done anything that was either not outright racist or to strictly placate his base? I mean this is the supposed "Pro-Life" person trying to kill immigrants as they get to the border. Now people are speaking in favor of non-white people he is upset again. If it surprises anyone then they simply haven't been paying attention."
