Breaking: Republicans Push for Economic Prosperity by Reducing What the Least Paid Employees Make in Florida. Rumors That DeSantis Wants to Reintroduce Slavery.

Recently Florida has determined the best way to improve their economic state in Florida is to make sure those that make the least amount of money in the state should make less. They pushed forward the bill HB 433 which partly pushed towards lowering wages to many in the state but is also promoting the idea the employer should not be required to help its employees in cases like extreme heat. Some people that we have discussed with argued if the best way for economic prosperity for Florida is to reduce wages for its employees then the argument would be eventually you keep pushing that down to maximize prosperity. As the GOP pushes more ideas to be States Rights rather than being federal laws there are some that want to take away federal laws of a minimum wage as they did with Abortion rights and rights to protest. Even as we see places trying to increase wages for people all across the nation with big headlines of Chattanooga recently unionizing Volkswagen plant and many states increasing minimum wage to help people to afford to work a 40 hour work week and be out of poverty.

After speaking with random folks on the internet many even suggested that with the changes to him wanting to ban all mentions of Slavery in the school system of Florida or anything that puts some of Americas worst chapters of its history out of its history books and pretend all bad things have never occurred. All while trying to reduce wages as low as possible the goal seems to make Florida residents into slavery for the large corporations locally. As they continued "I mean why worry about those people that should of picked themselves up by their own bootstraps? If we push them to say two dollars an hour and if they cut back on their avocado toast they can certainly still afford the rent in the area still. If they aren't responsible enough I am sure the corporations can provide housing that they can charge for and provide some food and once they can pay off the debts they incur during their employment there they can find another employer."
