Evaluation of the Fantasy of a Pending Conservative Civil War

As we hear countless times in the past and as the years progress there is always another round of people arguing that America is going to go into a Civil War with the Conservatives fighting the liberals. This is oftentimes paired up with some some tough looking neck beard photo next to someone in the LGBTQ community (or whoever the new bad guy is of the time) inquiring which will win. Then again in a few years a lot of the same happens again and we just rinse and repeat over and over decades later.
So time after time we hear of the new red line that if this is in fact the line that is crossed then things have gone too far and said civil war will happen. Some of these are some of the many things that these civil war groups accuse others of and supposedly are happening but have yet determined Civil War is not on the table yet.
As we ask a random person online of some of the concerns that face your general Qanon or Conservative person. These are supposedly things that are happening according to these groups and they have determined that it has not crossed a line.
Supposed list of things happening
- That somehow Biden stole an election by millions of votes that Trump supporters tried to argue were fraudulent (even though no proof in court was given and in these same races there was no argument to recount conservative wins in these same areas).
- That not only Covid was created in China and/or used by the US while at the same time not being a real disease while at the same time Trump was massively successful in combating against it due to operation warp speed to fight a disease that was supposedly not real.
- That supposedly Crisis actors were used to cause school shootings to take away peoples guns (even though Alex Jones was given his day in court to prove this and was unable).
- We can drop some of the really racist white Genocide and replacement theory stuff here. Again many accusations but rarely followed up with any sort of proof. Usually just racist imagery.
- Supposedly Bill Gates depopulation ideas because he understood science enough to know that one day a pandemic would occur because Conservatives apparently struggle with reading basic data.
- Flat Earthers which I am mostly convinces is just a group of philosophy majors having fun online. Generally using logical fallacies to argue against people that come to the argument mentally undefended.
- Supposedly that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated and taken over the government. I hear this one less now but was popular for a little bit.
- All the supposed Planned Parenthood conspiracies of selling parts while we can lump in that abortion is murder and therefore they have killed millions (according to these groups).
- That supposedly a Marxist revolution is already occurring....
This may feel like a comprehensive list but it is not. I am sure everyone familiar can probably easily tack on another couple they have personally heard from Pizzagate to George Soros. So we ask ourselves that if all these things are true (I am not convinced any of them are nor can I find proof that any have any validity). We must then ask ourselves if anyone else actually believes all that to be true then how would none of that have crossed a line yet? Instead we just get that if only one more thing happens then that's going to be it! The reality is its just children crying because they are not getting their way.
As the discussion went further we discussed more topics about the potential for a civil war and its outcome. As discussed "We found much like the previous civil war that Dems control most of the urban centers which in turn controls a massive portion of the economic power and ability to leverage it. We also deal with the fact that Conservatives aren't one singular block and much like their political beliefs they all think they are the right voice and the rest are wrong whether were discussing the religious zealots, the anti-government people, to the hardline more racist and xenophobic groups. Oftentimes many don't have a significant overlap and many of them wouldn't be likely to ally but instead be separately wiped out" "There is talk of things like the military that will come in and save the day for the Conservatives. Supposedly the argument is that there are more that follow Conservatives than liberals in the armed forces. In some cycles this is true like during the time of Hillary vs Trump he had a commanding lead. Once the comparison changed to Biden vs Trump in most polls Biden is more popular among the armed forces. Now certain branches certainly are more conservative than others but Biden overall beats Trump currently by about 4-5% when it comes to overall military views." So perhaps what we learn over time is that most of the talk that supposedly the right wing will just overthrow the government is a bit stupid. Even when given a long list of reasons to do it they have chosen not to. Which if half of that was true then normally most would go forward I would think. Instead were mostly dealing with children that cry for attention. Sometimes as many of us learn when trying to take care of children is one shouldn't always give in to their attention seeking.
