Local Politician caught using 'Dad Jokes' to appeal to Millennial Voters.

After many years of politicians struggling to appeal to newer voters many have went many different directions like trying to make new TikTok videos or working with influencers to help win over audiences they are popular with. Many struggle to connect with the newer generations oftentimes citing the "difficulty of using new fangled technology and their strange lingo." A local politician has decided to try and win over many of the new aging Millennial voters as many of them now have children that are also using Dad jokes. As the politician was speaking at an event he explained the reason to vote for him was that "the opposite of “pro” is “con,” so the opposite of progress is … Congress" as you see a large number of people in the audience face palm.

Once it got to the question and answer section of the speech he spoke with several of the people looking to support his candidacy. One of the people asked what makes him more qualified than his opponent he responded“Are you insane? Have you completely lost your mind? Are you a moron?” which initially left the person asking stunned. Then the politician followed up that these are the requirements to be a politician which he was great at all of those things. The race is expected to be a close race as a crazy person runs against an actual criminal. When many locals were asked how this particular match up may of occurred most of the responders mostly talked about the most recent stories in TMZ, recent sports games and speaking at length of how even though their candidate is bad the other is significantly worse.
